Module two task 1. Email.

Task 1
Using my old email account, when recieving an email, the information that could be gleaned from the the header was;
The senders name
Their email address
Who, beside you, they sent it to, plus who they 'cc'd it to.
The basic subject of the email.
Any attachments that may be included
Who I forwarded it on to.

Using my newly set up hotmail account, I was able to enable a function via the help menu that allows you to 'View Message Routing Information'.
Enabling this function allows much more information about the sender and the message, including all MIME information to be displayed.
The information contained in this header would go a long way in helping you should you wish to report instances of abuse or harrassment, for example.
It also displays the content type, eg text/plain, plus the content-transfer-encoding, eg 7 bit.
Below is an example. ( i've given it a colour to highlight where it starts and ends as it is so dam long!
